Doctor, Doctor give me the news...
Today was my one month doctor's visit. Again, off we went to MGH by way of Boston's subway (the "T"). Being that I have ridden the rails before, it was feeling like old hat for me. Mommy took me in the Baby Bjorn again and dad came with us too, after taking some time off from work. (It was a nice help to mom who is still struggling to heal after the trauma from my arrival.)

My main man, Dr. Mizner, was not in this week so I met with his colleague, Dr. Benz. The first thing I did at MGH was show off my cute face to a few old ladies in the elevator. I just love going out in public...everyone takes a glance my way. As before, the first thing they did was measure and weigh me. I came in at a healthy 9lbs 14oz; as you can see in the picture. (That's about 2 ounces per day. Mommy is great at setting up the buffet, and I always clean my plate.) I measured a healthy 22 inches. I don't know if that was too accurate a measure as I wasn't really in the mood to stretch out. Then they measured my cranium. What the picture of me on the scale doesn't convey is my excitement with posting a weight of 9lbs 14oz. I was so excited after daddy read the scale that I peed all over the place!

With mommy still walking very slowly and deliberately as she continues healing, I didn't want to stress her any more with crying so I kept quite for the whole trip. She needed a break from my voice lessons, even if I was starving. (Here is another picture. A bit hard to see, but if you look closely you can see Dr. Benz trying to puncture a hole in my ear!)
